Route
65/Twelve Bridges Drive Interchange: $9.7 million interchange and freeway
improvement project in the City of Lincoln, from PSR/PR through PS&E.
Work includes upgrading 1.7 miles of conventional highway, 0.7 miles of new
City roadway, a new structure over Route 65, extension of major box culverts
at three creek crossing, permit processing, right of way acquisition, and
environmental mitigation. The interchange developed was a modified partial
cloverleaf design, which was staged to accommodate future expansion of the
interchange. A PS&E package for the culvert extension was released for
construction as an advance contract to better accommodate staging of the
interchange and mainline construction.
Route
99/Cosumnes River Blvd/Calvine Rd Interchange: This project
involved the construction of a new partial cloverleaf interchange with
freeway overcrossing.It required the analysis and design of roadway drainage
and Strawberry Creek capacity improvements for City and County of Sacramento.
Work includes new structure over Strawberry Creek, plus creek relocation and
improvements, consideration of in-stream detention, detention basins for City
NPDES requirements, Corps of Engineers permit processing, and environmental mitigation.
Work also included design of a 12-inch water transmission main, which
included special details for creek crossing and installation across the
freeway.
